Dig Deep Diocesan Youth Camp 2009

O... K... I haven't been updating my blog since December, so I'll be updating today. Pictures will be up when I feel like it. XD

On the 7th - 11th of December, 2009, I had a Youth Camp. But since I was going to be busy on the 11th, I went home on the 10th, so yeah... time to reminiscence on the past to write this post. LOL.

First Day: Nothing much... packed my stuff and left my house to All Saints' Cathedral at 'round 1:30pm I think.. before that, walked all the way to a coffee shop just to buy my lunch... (quite far away) Checked in at around 2:30p.m., put my stuff at the room I'm staying in (which was for about 20 girls) and stayed at the cafeteria for a while till Rachel showed up and got to know a few of her friends. Pearlyn, a prefect, was also there, so I guess she's the 2nd prefect I'll know real well in my new prefect board... is what I thought then. At night, the Opening Ceremony was held... yeah well other than that, nothing special really except that Rachel, her friend Chloe and "Oh no, it's Sylvia!"'s friend named Jacqueline and I made up some lame stories at night since we weren't able to sleep. XD

Second Day: Woke up at what 6:00am? Wasn't able to sleep well, seriously. Skip... Morning Devotion, learnt the Bible song... XD First Dig Deep lesson, quite fun with a pastor from Tawau leading our group. Yeah, we split into groups for Dig Deep lessons. Met new friends~... Second Dig Deep lesson was for everyone by Ps. Moses but the sermon was so nostalgic... most probably the same thing from the English service back at Christ Church, Likas. Then lunch time and quite a long break then it was time for the first Recreation event. We had to fulfil 'quests' given by each gate. The only gate that actually got me really hurt was the 'Water Gate', where I actually cut both my palms and my knees were scarred too... I won't elaborate since I'm lazy. XD Nothing much after the recreation thing. But I studied the whole chapter of Mark till 1:00am...

Third Day: Kanpei shite yo~... woke up at 4:00am after feeling that some people were already awake... seriously, I just got 3 hrs of sleep?! Though I went back to bed for a brief moment since I was seriously too tired. Most of the routine's the same just that we had a new program called 'Workshop' which has Rev. Lin Khee Vun preaching. Really good guy, but what's with 'Mr. Bin'? Rec. 2 wasn't anything special... something close to a treasure hunt, I guess. Skipping to after the final Dig Deep of the day... Rachel, who I didn't think was serious but she kept mentioning it, successfully organized the Maggi eating competition she wished for and I was the camera woman with the whole event recorded. I'll post it at Facebook or maybe here. At night, enjoyed seeing Rachel, Chloe and Jacqueline rehearsing for the '1 Min 2 Fame' event. Oh yeah, met a new friend~... lol.

Fourth Day: Which is the final day for me. Same old... till 'Workshop 3'. The whole sermon was about the Internet, how it affects our life and... Ranka Lee? No seriously I mean it. We had a sermon about animes and the such and yes, Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier. It so happens that the Rev. himself watches anime but for some reasons, is really fond of Ranka Lee and Macross F... so to let us relax and enjoy for a while, he managed to come up with a PV using the song 'Seikan Hikou' (It's really popular, isn't it... -_-;) while scenes of Macross F was shown too... funny that when the Rev. asked who watches anime, quite an amount of people raised their hands, including me at the very least. XD Ah yeah, lots of people were "Ooh~!!!"-ing when they saw Ranka doing some 'sexy' poses or Ranka x Alto scenes... After the PV, he made us watch the cosplay version which was done poorly and most of us in the hall were half dead as the video played... though as a person who was currently on that series, I 'tried' to enjoy it. Ok~! Enough of that... skip~... to '1 Min 2 Fame'. I have the videos of some of the events and the event itself was awesome, perfect way to end my day of the camp. I still remember Chloe's CSI drama line: "Is it suicide... *takes off sunglasses while everyone yells like CSI fans*... or murder?" She really looked cool! XD I didn't manage to attend the Closing Ceremony so I guess this ends everything. The only thing I kinda got hooked up on is the song 'Undignified' by the David Crowder Band...

Well, guess ends my post. Since the Internet's slow and is wasting my time, I'll post the pictures in a later time when the Internet's better, promise!

Holidays... Begin~!

The school year for 2009 has officially~ ended on 13/11/09 (Friday).

As for the rest of last week's programmes... I'll give a short summary for it.

Saturday: Monitor Irene and Cass came to my house. For more information, please view her blog. XD

Monday: Golden Mic. Final... singing, so-so... dancing, not bad... announcing programme, boring and cold~... and when I thought that everything was boring, a cosplay team appeared! Random story plot though... Hinamori Amu was discriminated for her lack of knowledge by Kagamine Len (Why does everyone say he's cool?!)... lots of students were praising the slideshow Inoue Orihime for her huge bust... Emma Ai appears as a cool office lady who has a job to kill Pikachu... Random Kisuke Urahara x Miki part near the end... and that's pretty much it. I have the video, but... I'll see if I feel like uploading it here.

Tuesday: T.T. Star Final. Most of the students anticipated this more than yesterday. The singing was boring... (The 'Dancing Queen' duo actually won FIRST place?!) but the dances after the singing section were pretty awesome. And yes, I kept hearing a famous Korean pop dance song 'Sorry Sorry' play like 'bout... 3-4 times? Yesterday's 'bout 10+... is that song really THAT nice? Anyway, lazy to elaborate more.

Wednesday: J1-S1 Science: Movie 1 & 2. 1st Movie, 'Tsunami'... pretty touching. Nice and quite humorous though it's a Korean movie... and as expected, all Korean movies have this one thing in common, and that's 'DEATH'. 2nd Movie, 'Spirit'... some random Walt Disney movie about a horse... not bad too... but I wasn't really interested in that movie. At 'round 6p.m., had Drum lessons which made my leg ache so bad~... TT_TT

Thursday: General Cleaning. Yeah well, this is pretty much called the day before the finale... we cleaned our classroom before heading to the hall to attend a 'Special Assembly'.

Friday: Academic Year 2009's Closing Ceremony. Yup, the most crucial time before we say goodbye and hope to see you next year. Lots of teachers are retiring... Cikgu Rainty's in it too~! Why, Cikgu? WHY?! Anyway, we went back to our classes to get our all-so-important Student Transcript. Yet again, a miracle happened and I obtained 73. something for the average and 18/54... Thank you God for the miracle!!! The committee members also obtained something from our homeroom teacher, Mrs. Foo. As for me, I received a bracelet. Guess this really is really when I say...

"Sayounara, Junior 2 Zhong 2009~!!!"

Saturday: Yet again, Monitor Irene, Cass and in addition Amanda and Chantelle comes crashing at my place. Cass came the earliest, then Irene, then Amanda and Chantelle. Anyway, when Cass and Irene were the only two present in the morning, we had 'pan mee' for breakfast while watching '07-Ghost'. Cass became interested in it mostly due to the bishounens there and well, decided to lend it from me. A while later while waiting for the two princesses to come, we watched the 1st episode of 'Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo' and I told them that Imo-chan looked like a potato... and her friends that they were gonna see are all potatoes.

Then, they played 'Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games' on the Wii... Chantelle and Amanda were present then. I went ahead and recorded what they were all doing and as a price, got clobbered by doing that. -_- Had Fish & Chips for lunch. Hmm... after Cass left, we fandubbed random stuff like characters for Tsubasa Chronicles, Shugo Chara! etc... and after Chantelle left, Monitor went ahead and started her fandub of 'Akai Namida' from Shakugan no Shana the Movie which was really~ good and Amanda did her 'Fields of Hope' fandub. She fandubbed her Kira~'s character song, 'Tomorrow' after Monitor left and we played a bit of Wii before Amanda left.

Guess this concludes the week... Anyway, I've been hooked up playing 'Persona 4' recently and have just successfully maximized Yukiko's social link! (Souji x Yukiko forever!) But I don't like Yukiko! Guess who I really like in P4 in the picture below~ XD Anyway, just rescued Rise... hmm... that's about it for today's post. By the way... 6 more days till I go to Singapore!!! I can't wait to see the K-ON! seiyuus there! Hmm... I may even change my blogskin soon. I feel like it. LOL.

Golden Mic = Cosplay Team?!

Well... this is gonna be a short post so I'll hurry up and wrap this up.

Today's the Golden Mic competition at STTSS and my so-called senpai, Chantelle's, participating so I went to support her.

When Cass and I got into the hall, we saw a cosplay team that had Hinamori Amu (The power of Shugo Chara!... -_-), Miki (That's what I heard...), Hatsune Miku characters (Len or something), Inoue Orihime (BLEACH!!! Where's Rukia??? XD), Hibari Kyouya (That's... not really confirmed it's him...), Inuyasha (Or was it Kikyo...?) and some random school girls in the all famous sailor uniforms.

Singing, singing... then it was Chantelle and her friend's turn to sing a Chinese song called 'Lydia'. I was the camera woman along with Kimberly Wee, LOL. To me it wasn't bad at all though there were some parts that were 'off'... then continuing with the other contestants... there was a gay drama too. I left pretty early so I missed the cosplay thing... I wonder how it was... By the way, really good cosplayers...

Went to my new drum school which was a stone's throw away from my house... turns out that the teacher is my dad's good friend's brother and that Jeremy Wong from my class was also taking lessons there... if he sees me... this is gonna turn out ugly...

Tomorrow's activities: Cass, Amanda and Irene will come to my place to play, Youth Alpha

And~... that's pretty much all that happened. See how short this post is? XD

ギー太にもう首ったけ (lit. Heads over Heels with Gitta)

Meh~ I've been lazy posting stuff 'bout my life after the exams, I know...

KL trip~... boredom. Since my parents were just gonna have their 'training', leaving me at my Auntie's place... played with Christophe and that's fun. At Petaling Street, the world of anime *ahem*, we were stalked by a guy but he stopped following us as we entered a small food shop for beef ball soup... other than that, nothing interesting.

School life... boredom... chit-chatting, discussing of new story plot, the usual... just that teacher won't disturb us as we go crazy in class. As a disciplinarian, I should have taken care of the class but since it's almost time for us to part, guess I won't bother. Other than that, hung out with friends as usual...

Exam results, not impressed at all since I currently failed Maths and Chinese in the average for the final exam... I'm sure CHist will fail too...

Borrowed animes to Peck since she wanted to watch with her sis... impressed though... she's able to finish lots of anime in only a few days...

Practised for Tshung Tsin Star as the so-called drummer but in the end changed to guitarist due to the absence of a drum set. Didn't really practise though...

Ah... today's the day... Cass managed to 'beg' and borrowed a black electric guitar from Chen Yen Chung, so thanks to Cass, I was able to help out even though I'll be acting like Yui. Gotten
permission from Cyn C to be Yui for a day and her being Ritsu for a day. LOL.

When it was nearly our turn, we were informed that there was no keyboard, so Cass, jumping with glee, didn't have to play on stage with Amanda the bassist and me the faker guitarist...

On stage, didn't really feel nervous... tried my best acting... but I guess the audience weren't amazed by our performance anyway... so yeah, we didn't make it in the end... guess the team was disappointed but Amanda and I were pretty relieved.

Tomorrow's another competition called 'Golden Mic'. Guess I'll go see how Chantelle performs.

Though I wasn't really playing the guitar, but I sorta enjoyed it... and 'cuz of that, here's a Yui picture! Hirasawa Yui ftw, LOL!

ホントのじぶん (lit. True Self)

[9/10/2009 ~ 10/10/2009]

The two days I may never ever forget... (I think the seriousness shocked you guys, huh? XD)

Well~ nothing bad happened, just for your information before starting...

Friday: Went for tuition (9a.m. ~ 11a.m.) then went to have lunch with Chris and her clone-- uh I mean Sylvia. 'Argued' with Sylvia as usual and in the end, Chris and her paid for me for I-don't-know-why reasons ('cuz I brought my own money), so thanks to the both of them... *coughs*

After that, went to Cass' house. To study. Since the exams are still on... Cyn C came too...well... we studied for a bit, talked, drew stuff, continued the game Cass and I were 'playing'... at that time the score was what... 5-3? Don't really remember... gave her a point 'cuz she shocked me with a stupid method.

At 5, Cass had her piano lessons... Cyn C and I just looked at her from the dining table and recorded the whole session with Cyn C's handphone... she's really a PROFESSIONAL man. Weird that her teacher wasn't pleased with her though... if it were my teacher, she would be extremely happy that I can play like that, but since I'm no longer a pianist... I don't really care. XD

A while later, Cyn C left... leaving me alone there. Actually, I didn't go back since I was a temporary freeloader... to put it in a simpler way to understand, I had a sleepover at her place. LOL. This was actually my first sleep-over after 4 and a half years...

Around 8p.m., had a 'birthday' dinner since it was what... Cass' grandpa and another one of her relative's birthday. Auntie Melanie introduced me as 'Cassandra's Best Friend, Nicole' which was pretty~ embarassing, before the dinner started... (If you're reading this Cass, THIS DOES NOT COUNT. HAH!) We had sushi (Misaki: *hyper* HWAHA~!!!), raw salmon (Misaki: *hyper* HWOA~!!!), Miso Soup (Misaki: *hyper* OISHII~!!!), KFC and well other stuff... during dinner, Cass and I were bickering between each other and her uncle heard my English and well... complimented about it with Cass' mother being an add-on after that.

After dinner... uh... had tea while talking about 'stuff' with Cass on my favourite seat at her house (LOL.)... Btw, Cass' kid cousin... uh... Adam was it? Was pretty cute and chubby... XD

Lazy to elaborate (or more like, CAN'T elaborate here...) and it was already 10:30p.m.. Everyone went home, so Cass and I decided to head upstairs with her sister tagging along. In her room... uh, she chased her sister out since we had some personal stuff to talk about... her sister did went out, with a very agitated temper... what we talked about... DUH. I won't elaborate about ANY of it here! XD Dream on, guys! (If you're seeing this Cass, I don't think you would tell anyone about what we talked about... right??? *grins*)

At 'round 12:30 a.m., we went to bed... she and I weren't able to sleep... for me, I wasn't able to sleep 'cuz I thought maybe Cass might roll down from her matress to 'mine'. (Since one was high and one was low) And that would cause 'awkward stuff' to happen. (NOT perverted. AWKWARD.) Cass' mother came in to check on us but I don't know what time THAT was...

Anyhow, time for the next day.

Saturday: ... I seriously wasn't able to like sleep... ok maybe for an hour, but ONLY an hour's sleep... I turned to face Cass and saw her... *starts laughing*... SLEEPING face!!! XD It was so~ innocent and cute man~!!! (I'm NOT trying to act like those weird lesbian fangirls here... -_-) Her sis woke up to get ready for her Robot Camp thingy and she woke up a while later... (To Cass once again, HAH, you weren't able to see my sleeping face!)

We then talked about stuff and read/looked at some books and photo albums too before 'getting out' from bed. Her mom came in to clean herself up before heading out and Cass talked to her mom so casually... her mom was surprised that her daughter wasn't acting like herself since... ah... better not say... skipping to breakfast. Had 'Koko Crunch with 'Soya Milk'' and talked and talked... (I think everyone should think that we're talkative by now, right Cass? -_-)

Later, enjoyed seeing Cass playing 'something'... kinda cool and interesting! While watching her play that certain 'something', we could hear drumming coming from her neighbours' house which made me think if it's trying to make me get a drum...

We watched TV... some program on Channel 301... about worms? When her maid saw the worm, she scram so hard that we both were shocked, leading our points to 7-7. A while later, I did a plan of mine (I WON'T SAY WHAT I DID HERE.) but she criticized that it wasn't supposed to be like that, so we both went upstairs to do some 'training'. (You know what? This is starting to sound sick and wrong.)

Went back down, watched TV, a while later had lunch with Cass' grandparents... listened to her grandma's story which was pretty intruging... but it lasted for like... 50 minutes though it was interesting... ^^; After her grandparents left, her PARENTS came back with some of their friends and they had their teatime at the dining table.

RE-watched 'Shugo Chara!' while eating one small piece of durian since Cass' mother treated us to it... after the visitors left, Cass' father wanted to watch Astro and so we stopped the 'Shugo Chara' fest and just watched Astro, Channel 302. Since her parents wanted to watch a 4:30p.m. news, Cass and I went upstairs to have a rest... (She was tired, TOO tired.) ... though we ended up listening to music and uh... playing around? Around 5:00p.m., went back downstairs. She played 'Again' on the piano and I went to see her father playing with her dog. (Minato-kun's Koro-chan. LOL.)

A while later, had a seat on the sofa and talked 'bout life till 6:00p.m.. Her mom was playing a game on the PC while we were talking... then uh... at 'round 6:30p.m. I think, MY mom came to fetch me from her house and so that was when we departed. (What a long story~...)

Went to KFC to 'take away' our dinner, went home in time for Inuyasha: The Final Act, went to bed at 11:30p.m. and that's the end~!!! These two days ARE two of the best days this year--actually-- my life! For now, that is... (To Cass: No offense, buddy... but seriously thanks for everything.)

Misaki: Thanks for viewing this utterly long post!!! Oh and... *looks at A----a* ... If you want me to change or add OR delete anything, don't hesitate to tell me, ok, buddy??? *smiles*
